First year reflection: University is very stressful! It’s easy to get caught up in surviving the hectic and challenging trials of university; often forgetting to enjoy the process. Being part of the Interdepartmental Science Students’ Society has helped me branch out and grow as a member of the larger Science faculty student body.

I have been part of ISSS as First-Year councillor and Director of External Relations. This year, I am running for Second-Year councillor, with hopes to better serve YOU! I strongly believe in the power of community and hope to strengthen ties within Science students. I believe I can serve the student body in a way that unites us and endorses a passion for scientific success and achievement.

Each individual student should feel empowered by being part of a collective body. A collective that supports one another, encourages out-of-the-box curiosity, and increases the resources available for dealing with the countless obstacles of being a student. Together, through versatility and durability, we will achieve great things.

Vote for me –because if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the precipitate!
