PRT | Public Relations Team
So you want to be a part of an awesome Public Relations Team (PRT) for your Science Faculty Association? Here’s what you need to know before jumping in!
What is the PRT? (“Party”)
The PRT exists to raise the profile and enhance students’ awareness of the ISSS. Because ISSS is a new Faculty Association, many science students have limited awareness of what we do. The PRT will work towards the goal of increasing student awareness and involvement in the ISSS.
How will the PRT work?
The PRT will consist of approximately 10 fun, dynamic, energetic, and outgoing Science students who are committed to improving the sense of community within the Faculty of Science. This group of individuals will meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis during the Fall semester to brainstorm promotional ideas. During the Winter semester, we will be working to implement these great promotional ideas.
Why should you join?
The PRT will provide an opportunity to be a part of a tight-knit, fun-loving, and cohesive team. Not only will the PRT be a lot of fun, but it’s a great way for you to better your public speaking and public relations skills! If you’ve ever wanted to start a flash mob in the middle of quad, be part of a massive snowball fight, or be a part of a YouTube video (among many other things), the PRT is for you!
